SPRING CLEANING at SCIPIO RURAL CEMETERY
April 26, 2025 (Sat.), 9:00-2:00
It’s Spring Cleanup time at Scipio Rural Cemetery. We’re joining a State-wide effort to
tend to our local cemeteries… and we’re hoping you will join us as we express our
Respect for the Town – and for those who have actually lived our History.
Scipio Rural Cemetery is not affiliated with any religious entity. It is a community resting
place, open to the public since the Civil War.
Bring gloves, rakes, rags, for gentle care. And don’t forget the love! A helping hand
and, if you can, monetary donations of any size are what will keep Scipio Rural
Cemetery going, and we thank you.

Serving 11:00 am until sold out. Halves of chicken: $10 -or- Dinners: $12
Dinners are 1/2 of chicken, salt potatoes, pasta salad & Italian bread.
